RAMPART is a specialist recruitment and search firm built around real sector experience across Hospitality, Property and Commercial & Tech.
RAMPART was created from a simple belief: recruitment works better when the people doing the search genuinely understand the work, the businesses and the people they represent.
Our three practices are deliberately specialist. Each market requires different knowledge, different networks and a different understanding of what makes someone successful.
We combine specialist sector knowledge, commercial understanding and human judgement to identify people who can genuinely make a difference to a business.
RAMPART is UK first, international by design. We work across borders when our clients and candidates require it, while keeping the same standard of judgement and service.
Our mission is simple: connect the right specialists with the right businesses, and build relationships that go beyond a single placement.

The Founder
Mike
I didn't start in recruitment. I started on the restaurant floor.
Within my first year, I moved into management and progressed through operations into General Manager and Operations Manager roles, leading teams of 20 to 50+ across restaurants, hotels and events.
That experience gave me first-hand knowledge of what actually makes a business work: recruiting people, developing teams, managing budgets, driving sales and dealing with the commercial pressure that comes with running an operation.
Sales, relationships and negotiation were always the part of the work that pulled me most. That led me into property, where I progressed from Lettings Negotiator into Sales Negotiation and contributed more than £100k in agency revenue over one calendar year.
By then, I had experienced business from both sides of recruitment: understanding what companies need from the people they hire, while also understanding what candidates experience when their performance and potential are being judged.
That combination became the foundation for RAMPART.
Originally named Mihai, I became professionally known as Mike during my years working in the UK. The experience I built across hospitality, operations, property and sales now shapes how RAMPART approaches recruitment today.
